Hi, I'm Eileen! I'm the photographer behind BUG EYE Photos, a women-owned photography business based in Schenectady County, New York.

I've been drawn to photography since 2005, and what started as an interest in black-and-white film photography has grown into a lifelong creative pursuit. Over the years, my work has taken me in all sorts of directions, from dance and concert photography to portraits, fashion, weddings, and everything in between. I love having the opportunity to explore different styles, meet interesting people, and find new ways to tell stories through images.

At my heart, I'm a portrait photographer. I love creating images that are colorful, expressive, a little unexpected, and full of personality. Whether I'm photographing an individual, a couple, a family, a performer, or a once-in-a-lifetime moment, I'm always looking for the little things that make a photograph feel special.

More than anything, I want the people I photograph to feel good about themselves. I know being in front of a camera doesn't always come naturally, and I consider it one of the best parts of my job to help people relax, have fun, and see themselves in a way they might not always see on their own. I believe there's beauty in everyone and everything, and I love finding ways to bring that beauty to life through my work.

My photography spans portraits, senior sessions, maternity and newborns, weddings and elopements, concerts, theater, events, and creative projects. I'm drawn to vibrant colors, dramatic lighting, genuine moments, and images that have a little something extra.

At the end of the day, photography is about more than just how something looks. It's about how it feels, what it means, and the memories we get to hold onto.
